About Me

I am a dog lover first, and a dog trainer second. I know from first-hand experience the difference dog training makes in the relationship between dog and owner. Without professional training it can sometimes be a frustrating relationship, but with an investment in good training a wonderful transformation will occur.

I have been working with dogs and their owners for many years and there is nothing which satisfies me more than to see a happy dog and a happy owner!

My mission is to help you and your dog enjoy many happy years together.
I have 6 of my own dogs and have been a volunteer at the PSPCA for a lot of years. I work mostly with scared and abused dogs.  I also teach "Teacher's Pet", a basic obedience class for dogs in the shelter to make them more adoptable. My favorite part of training  and volunteering is to see a dog go to a good and loving forever home.  Visit the PSPCA website at www.pspca.org.
I am a CPDT-KA and a professional member of APDT  I am a certified Canine Good Citizen evaluator and I can certify Therapy Dogs. I am certified in small animal First Aid and CPR. I am also a Level 2 Animal Behavior College Certified Dog Trainer. I am a Professional Member of Pet Professional Guild and International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. I  work with New Leash on Life USA in their prison program and am a volunteer trainer for Pets for Vets.
